Knowledge Base
Every window is unique, which is why we offer bespoke curtain poles and accessories to perfectly complement your space. Designed for both style and functionality, our tailored solutions ensure your curtains hang beautifully while standing the test of time. Follow this step-by-step guide to measure your windows accurately for a flawless made-to-measure fit.

1. Calculate the Length
Step 1: Positioning
Examine your window and determine the ideal height for your curtain pole.
Measure the width of your window, including the outer edges of the frame.
Use a pencil or masking tape to mark where the brackets will be installed on both sides of the frame.

Step 2: Allowing for Overhang
To ensure your curtains stack neatly when open, we recommend extending the pole 15-20cm beyond each side of the window frame.
Decide the final placement of your pole, keeping in mind to include the width of the finials at both ends.

Step 3: Measuring the Pole Length
Measure the distance between your marked bracket points.
Add an additional 30-40cm (15-20cm per side) to accommodate the overhang. This final measurement will be the length of your curtain pole.

Step 4: Consider the Finials
Finials add to the overall visual length of your pole. While they are not included in the pole measurement itself, ensure there is enough space at both ends to accommodate them once installed.
